Friendship

Although some people would refer to me as "pushy" or "obsessive", I have come to find that most people would endure these feelings as they were being ignored. All friendships are different and they can range from incredibly intimate to passive. One thing that can be said, however, is that communication plays a HUGE role in the closest of friendships.

I suppose, the reason I am writing this is because I feel somewhat hurt. My closest friends mean everything in the world to me and sometimes I don't feel the same love returned. Instead of appreciation, some people view my acts of kindness as annoying, irritating and downright pointless. It's as if my 5 minute phone call or text to ask about how things is a waste of time. Why see how friends are doing? That's stupid! Friends don't mean a larger paycheck, a bigger house or a better career?

If your thoughts somehow match the aforementioned sarcasm, then you would be correct. Friends don't lead to those types of prospects. However, having friends can lead to a wonderful, happy and enriching life. To know that you have someone you can help (and vice versa) makes every second of life worth living. There doesn't have to be an explanation as to why we need certain people in our lives. It's human nature and some things just feel so good -- for no reason, whatsoever! Friendship (in my mind) is the great stabalizer -- it's what keeps human beings going.

It's just upsetting that certain people aren't as receptive. Sometimes, the very people you care about the most don't want to hear from you. You call, text, e-mail and yet, you hear no response. You're the main initiator of most conversations and hang-outs and when there are hang-outs, it's almost as if those [ignoring] people don't want to be around you.

I'm not even sure where I'm going with this post. I just feel like I'm being pushed around....

OH MY GOD! AN UPDATE!

Holy crap! How long has it been since I updated this thing? Sheesh!

Well, I've been busy busy busy! Juggling between freelance jobs and a personal film that I'm in the process of boarding.

Man, I dunno what else to say that would sufficiently describe what I've been up to these past few months. I guess I'll just post some stuff in the meantime, and I'll follow up. Toodle-oo! :)
